GOOD morning. We are here to provide any information on incidents that might crop up throughout the rush hour period this morning on our Black Country and North Worcestershire roads.

So far the roads across the area are pretty quiet, but there is slow traffic on A4123 New Birmingham Road southbound in Dudley at A4033 Tividale Road / A461 Burnt Tree (Burnt Tree Traffic Lights).

Traffic is also slow on A4123 Wolverhampton Road southbound at A4034 Churchbridge (Birchley Island) in Oldbury.

There are also areas of planned roadworks which are causing delays, including:

Narrow lanes and speed restriction of 40 mph on the M5 both ways between J2 A4123 (Oldbury) and J1 A41 (West Bromwich) due to major roadworks. Three narrow lanes running in each direction as part of long-term work on the Oldbury Viaduct.

There are roadworks on A461 Brettell Lane in Stourbridge at Oak Park Road until May 20, while gas main work and temporary traffic lights are in place on Holloway Lane in Redditch at Arthur Street/Studley Road until May 19.

Telecoms work and temporary traffic lights are in place in Chaddesley Corbett on A448 at Harvington Hall Lane until May 17. Water main work and temporary traffic lights are in place on A4025 Stourport Road between A449/Stoney Lane and Bishops Wood Lane until May 19.

While in Halesowen, there are roadworks during off-peak periods, and temporary traffic lights on Furlong Lane between A458 Windmill Hill and Overend Road/Butchers Lane until May 19.
