AFTER heavy downpour yesterday, it should be a little drier and brighter across the region today (Thursday, May 18).
A brighter day is expected with a mix of sunny spells and isolated showers, however, for most it will remain dry throughout the day.
It may even feel pleasant in the sun, with a maximum temperature of 17 °C.
Tonight, any residual showers will die away by this evening but the skies will turn increasingly cloudy from the south overnight.
That means there could be the occasional rain spreading in for many through the early hours, as it brings with it a minimum temperature of 6 °C.
