SIX men have appeared in court after being charged by police investigating robberies at convenience stores in Stourbridge, Dudley, Brierley Hill and Rowley Regis.

Martin Rollason, aged 30, from Albionfield Drive, West Bromwich, was charged with six robbery offences and six counts of possessing an offensive weapon.

He appeared before Dudley Magistrates Court on Monday May 15 and was remanded in custody to await trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court on June 12.

Aiden Jenkins, aged 19, of Hilary Drive, Wolverhampton, was charged with robbing Super Store off licence, Dudley, on May 12. He was granted conditional bail and told to await trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court on June 12.

Kyle Dingley, aged 18, from Victoria Road, Cradley Heath, and Lee Pritchard, aged 23, from Gloucester Road, Netherton, have also been charged with one count of robbery, while Brad Arnold, aged 20, from Beechwood Road, Dudley, was charged with two robberies.

Meanwhile - James Taplin, aged 30, from Hawthorn Road, Tipton, was charged with seven robbery offences at One Stop shops in Dudley and Sandwell, seven counts of possessing an offensive weapon and one charge of cultivating cannabis.

All four appeared before Wolverhampton magistrates on Monday May 15 and were remanded in custody to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on June 12.
