A RED Bull thief from Kates Hill has been sent to prison for 35 weeks.

Zafar Iqbal, aged 42, of Highfield Road, stole the energy drinks, worth £20, from Heron Foods, Dudley, on May 30.

He was subject to a suspended sentence at the time.

When he appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court, he was also sentenced for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a PCSO in Dudley on July 6, leading them to believe that violence would be used.

He was ordered to pay compensation of £100.

The following were also before the courts between July 7 and 13: Adam James Harvey, aged 38, of Fairways Avenue, Norton, was fined £530 for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with the intention to cause another harassment, alarm or distress, in Oldbury on March 16. The offence was racially aggravated. He must pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £53 and £185 court costs.

Benjamin James Priest, aged 41, of Mears Coppice, Quarry Bank, was fined £525 for drink driving in Lye on June 23. When tested, he had 106mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 26 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £52 and £135 court costs.

Paul Raybould, aged 26, of St John’s Court, Brierley Hill, was fined £160 for selling tobacco to a person under the age of 18, in Dudley on January 20. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £500 court costs.

Matthew Anthony Willetts, aged 22, of Junction Road, Stourbridge, was discharged conditionally for six months for assaulting a man and woman in Cradley Heath on May 6 and possessing cannabis. He must carry out 80 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £105 and £800 court costs.

Elaine Robinson, aged 52, of Larch Road, Kingswinford, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with the intention to cause another harassment, alarm or distress, in Kingswinford on February 8. She must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Richard John Perry, aged 42, of Elm Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for six weeks, suspended for 12 months, for drink driving in Rowley Regis on June 25. When tested, he had 81mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for driving while disqualified and without insurance or MOT. He was disqualified from driving for three years and must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £135 court costs.

Kevin Degen, aged 42, of The Village, Kingswinford, was fined £160 for causing damage to a door frame and resisting a police officer in the execution of their duty in Kingswinford on June 28. He must pay compensation of £60, a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Talib Hussain, aged 43, of Vicars Walk, Stourbridge, was fined £120 for driving without due care and attention in Dudley on November 18, 2016. He was also sentenced for running a red light. He was given five penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £300 court costs.

Darius Aniulis, aged 27, of Birmingham Road, Oldbury, was given a 12 month community order for drink driving in Warley on June 19. When tested, he had 104mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for driving without a licence, insurance or MOT. He was disqualified from driving for 23 months and must carry out 100 hours unpaid work. He must pay a £100 fine, victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Filipe Miguel Guerreiro Vaz, aged 32, of Ankerdine Court, Halesowen, was sent to prison for 16 weeks, suspended for 24 months, for driving while disqualified in Halesowen on June 18. He was also sentenced for driving without insurance or MOT. He was given a 12 week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £135 court costs.

Geoffrey John Law, aged 55, of Lower High Street, Cradley Heath, was given a 12 month community order for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with the intention to cause another harassment, alarm or distress, in Cradley Heath between June 19 and 21. He was fined £25 and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Jordan Davies, aged 18, of High Street, Pensnett, was given a 12 month community order for driving dangerously in Dudley on May 26. He was also sentenced for driving without a licence or insurance and failing to stop when required to do so by a police officer in uniform. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and given 100 hours unpaid work. He must pay compensation of £150, a victim surcharge of £85 and £185 court costs.

Ross Hodgkinson, aged 38, of Bramble Green, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 18 months for stealing four bottles of spirits, worth £87, from Tesco, Dudley, on June 28. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20.

Nathan Paul Wyman, aged 31, of Milton Street, Pensnett, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for causing £100 worth of damage to a front door in Dudley on June 26. He must pay compensation of £125, a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Shane Alexander Whyte, aged 37, of Central Drive, Gornal, was sent to prison for 22 weeks, suspended for two years, for assaulting a woman in Oldbury on April 3 and breaching a non-molestation order in Brierley Hill on May 18. He must pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £115 and £250 court costs.

Rachel Maria Ward, aged 33, of Merryfield Road, Russells Hall, was fined £800 for drink driving in Dudley on June 30. When tested, she had 51mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was also sentenced for driving without due care and attention. She was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £40 and £135 court costs.
