AFTER a cold day across most parts of the Black Country and North Worcestershire yesterday, today is expected to be a rather similar.
This morning will led to a cold and windy day with sunny spells and frequent showers, these heavy and blustery with the risk of hail and thunder. Temperatures are expected to be around the 4°C mark.
Showers will turn increasingly wintry with snow accumulating in places, especially over the hills. It will feel bitterly cold this afternoon, with temperatures reaching highs of 5°C.
The wintry showers will continue into the evening, leading to further accumulations as well as some icy stretches. Winds will remain strong throughout the night. Minimum temperatures of 0C are expected.
