PEOPLE in the West Midlands and Worcestershire are being warned to expect a wild and windy night.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for the region with wind speeds of 50 - 60 mph gusting up to 70 mph.
The warning is in place from 12.05am until 9am on Thursday (January 18) as an area of low pressure moves east across the country.
While the warning is in place there is a chance of travel disruption and power cuts.
There may also be damage to property and injuries caused by flying debris during the gales.
