CRADLEY Heath based community choir Voices in Harmony is celebrating its 21st anniversary with a concert next month.

Choir members will be performing at their own milestone birthday bash taking place at Dudley Town Hall on Saturday May 12.

Set up in 1997 by musical director Stephen Bradley - the choir today comprises around 70 members of all abilities, aged 16 upwards, who perform songs from the musicals, classics and pop numbers.

To celebrate the anniversary in style, the choir has invited fellow Black Country choirs, The Gentlemen Songsters, Colla Voce and Viva Musica to join them at Dudley Town Hall where more than 120 singers will be performing together.

Proceeds from this concert, which will be hosted by TV and radio legend Don Maclean MBE and broadcast live on the Black Country Radio, will go to Mary Stevens Hospice in Stourbridge.

Tickets are available from the Dudley Town Hall box office via website www.boroughhalls.co.uk or by calling 01384 812812.
