A STOURBRIDGE thief has been jailed for 44 weeks.

Nathan James Williams, aged 41, of Pebble Close, stole alcohol, worth £768, from shops in Brierley Hill, Stourbridge and Dudley, between April 9 and 20, while subject to a suspended sentence.

He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Aziz Alboraiki, aged 30, of Beecher Road East, Halesowen, must pay £100 compensation for damaging three drainpipes in Halesowen on November 22, 2017.

Tariq Rashid, aged 46, of Birmingham New Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for entering a dwelling in Tividale as a trespasser on April 11 and stealing property of an unknown value. He was given a 28 week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must also carry out 200 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £185 court costs.

Peter Watson-Wood, aged 64, of Elbow Street, Old Hill, was fined £120 for drink driving in Warley on April 8. When tested, he had 68mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Roy Carlos Mitchell Carter, aged 29, of High Street, Kingswinford, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a man and woman in Kingswinford on October 20, 2017. He must carry out 200 hours unpaid work and pay £100 compensation, a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Steven James Harris, aged 39, of Oakland Drive, Gornal Wood, was given a 12 month community order for stealing four pairs of jogging bottoms, worth £189.96, from Superdry, Merry Hill, on April 11. He was given a one month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 5pm and 5am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Leah Jay-Antonia, aged 22, of Jeffrey Road, Rowley Regis, was fined £300 for driving without insurance in Wednesbury on March 10. She was also sentenced for driving through a red light and driving whilst using a mobile telephone in West Bromwich on April 29. She was disqualified from driving for six months and must pay £135 court costs and a victim surcharge of £15.

Grant Lee Meredith-Trafford, aged 26, of Crescent Avenue, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for 26 weeks for assaulting a woman in Dudley on January 25. He was also sentenced for sending a threatening voice message on February 5 for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety to the recipient.

Jamie Lee Bourne, aged 37, of Junction Road, Stourbridge, was sent to prison for 18 week for stealing items, worth £869.99, in Stourbridge, between November 14, 2017 and April 27. He was also sentenced for breaching a restraining order on August 29, 2017. He must pay compensation of £799 and a victim surcharge of £115.

Jyoti Sian, aged 53, of Highgate Road, Dudley, was fined £135 for driving without due care and attention in Dudley on September 15, 2017. She was given three penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Amer Mehmood, aged 38, of Selborne Road, Dudley, was fined £60 for driving while using a mobile phone in West Bromwich on November 30, 2017. He was given six penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £635 court costs.
