OLD Hill continued their good start to the season with a commanding victory at Newport last Saturday.
Opener Harry Baddams top scored with 54 after the visitors were put in to bat by the hosts.
Old Hill eventually hit 229 after solid contributions from Dylan Keeling (38) and Naqaash Tahir (42).
Zahid Kafiat blew away the Newport top order as Old Hill powered towards their second win of the season.
He took six wickets as the home side were bowled out for just 111 in the 25th over.
The success lifts Old Hill to second place in Division Three of the Birmingham and District League ahead of this Saturday's clash with Lichfield at Haden Hill (noon start).
