A SEDGLEY drink driver who was more than three times the legal limit has been banned from the roads for 28 months.

When Joanne Lee, of Lomond Road, was caught behind the wheel in Dudley on April 23, she had 113mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs

The 40-year-old was given a 28 day community order and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Lee was also handed a 28 day curfew and for the duration must remain at her home address between 8pm and 6am.

Laura Faye Evans, aged 25, of Connops Way, Lye, was given a 12 month community order for threatening someone with a large kitchen knife in Tipton on April 10. She must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £185 court costs.

Jack Brophy, aged 23, of Pimlico Court, Lower Gornal, was fined £290 for drink driving in Milking Bank on April 20. When tested, he had 70mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Janice Denise Pagett, aged 57, of Wood Street, Wollaston, was discharged conditionally for six months for assaulting a woman in Wollaston on November 3, 2017. She must pay compensation of £25, a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Lee James Turner, aged 24, of Balmoral View, Milking Bank, was fined £300 for drink driving in Lower Gornal on April 15. When tested, he had 45mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Anthony Jonathan Cork, aged 22, of Whittley Gardens, Sedgley, was discharged conditionally for six months for damaging a window at Asda, Sedgley, on March 13. He must pay £500 compensation.

Nicola Rhodes Jordan, aged 27, of The Willows, Netherton, was sent to prison for 10 weeks for stealing items, worth £529.09, from shops in Netherton and Dudley between April 21 and May 8. She must pay compensation of £104.

Joshua Miles Plant, aged 23, of Victoria Road, Cradley Heath, was fined £600 for drink driving in Stourbridge on April 28, while subject to a suspended sentence. When tested, he had 73mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for possessing cannabis. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Ryan Anthony Walshaw, aged 26, of Stourbridge Road, Brierley Hill, was given a 12 month community order for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe that violence would be used against them. The offence was racially aggravated. He was given a 26 week curfew and for the duration he must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £185 court costs.

Jordan Lee Ledgister, aged 20, of Brewery Street, Dudley, was sent to a young offender institution for 25 days for assaulting a male in Stourbridge on November 15, 2017. He must pay compensation of £200.

Anthony James Burns, aged 52, of Cole Street, Netherton, was given a 12 month community order for stealing four joints of meat, worth £65.04, from Aldi, Brierley Hill, on May 12, while subject to a conditional discharge. He was given a 12 week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Justine Michelle Blake, aged 42, of School Road, Brierley Hill, was fined £183 for drink driving in Dudley on April 22. When tested, she had 42mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Steve Alexander Hale, aged 42, of Queensway, Oldbury, was given a two year community order for harassing a woman in Halesowen between February 1 and May 14. He must carry out 40 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Manjit Singh, aged 51, of Uplands Avenue, Rowley Regis, was fined £300 for failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis during the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence in Oldbury on April 22. He was disqualified from driving for 16 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Shimmer Olarinde Eryemi, aged 32, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was fined £750 for drink driving in Dudley on April 28. When tested, he had 70mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for driving without due care and attention and without insurance. Eryemi was disqualified from driving for 18 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £65 and £135 court costs.
