A WOLLASTON comedy show headlined by Britain’s Got Talent runner-up Robert White sold out just two hours after it was announced last night (Thursday).

Organisers at Fitz of Laughter Comedy Club, based at Katie Fitzgerald’s, revealed White would headline its Christmas show on Friday, December 7.

All 100 tickets were quickly snapped up by eager fans – and with nearly 80 on a waiting list, bosses are now trying to organise a second date with White to satisfy the demand.

Wayne Beese, who hosts the regular shows on the first Friday of every month, said: “It’s our fastest selling show by some distance, beating the week it took for Tom Binns to sell out last December.

“We were delighted to get Robert – he pushed Lost Voice Guy all the way in the final and really did win the hearts of the nation.

“We want to try and make sure as many people as possible can see him in Stourbridge, so we’re talking at the moment to try and make a second date happen, probably the night before on Thursday, December 6.”

People who want to go are advised to go to www.skiddle.com/e/13254392 and sign up to the waiting list – the first 100 to do so will automatically be offered tickets if a new date is announced.
