INTREPID youngsters from Stourbridge Rugby Club will cycle 21 miles - including a stretch in pitch black - in memory of a former junior player this weekend.
Eighteen players from Stourbridge RFC under-9s will ride from Mary Stevens Hospice to Birmingham Children's Hospital via Dudley and Birmingham canals.
The trek - which includes a 1.5mile stretch in the pitch dark tunnel at Netherton - is being undertaken in memory of former Stourbridge RFC junior Tom Mole.
Tom, 14, died at BCH in April of this year after a short illness.
