A PENSNETT pensioner fought off two men who stormed into his home and attempted to steal a car.
The men knocked over the 80-year-old a threatened his 79-year-old wife at around 8.40pm on April 14.
They demanded keys to a black Renault parked outside the Derwent Close property.
But as they struggled to start the engine, the pensioner smashed the windscreen and the crooks had no choice but to flee empty-handed.
DC Darren Barnes said: “My team are following a number of leads, including forensic opportunities, and now we’ve been able to release CCTV of two suspects we’d like to trace.
“If you recognise the two people in the clip, or have any other information about what happened please contact West Midlands Police on 101."
