A PENSNETT man has received a suspended prison sentence after he threatened to set cars on fire.

Stuart Neil Williams, aged 39, of Heyden Road, threatened a man by saying: “I know where you live, I will come round and burn your cars,” on January 27, Dudley Magistrates Court was told.

He was also sentenced for interfering with two motor vehicles in Dudley and possessing items for use in the course of or in connection with theft, namely a screwdriver and torch, on April 15; stealing air fresheners worth £220 from Wilkos, Stourbridge, on April 23 and dishonestly undertaking or assisting in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of a stolen mobile phone on January 27, while subject to a community order.

He was sent to prison for 34 weeks, suspended for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £400 court costs.

Matthew John Marsh, aged 33, of Broadlands Drive, Brierley Hill, was given a six month community order for stealing cheese, worth £41.43, from B&M Bargains, Dudley, on July 8. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Anthony Bagnall, aged 48 of Spiral Court, Stourbridge, was given a two week community order for breaching a restraining order in Kingswinford on July 8. He was given a two week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £185 court costs.

Tyrell Fitzroy Saa, aged 30, of Orwell Close, Stourbridge, was fined £320 for breaching a non-molestation order and possessing cannabis in Stourbridge on July 9. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £185 court costs.

Reece William Lees, aged 20, of Ridgeway Road, Dudley, was fined £250 for driving without a licence or insurance in Oldbury on June 24. He was also fined £100 for possessing diazepam. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £185 court costs.

Marley Tyrone Perry, aged 21, of Northwood Court, Brierley Hill, was fined £80 for stealing a Google Chromecast, worth £30, from Asda, Brierley Hill, on June 9. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Gian Singh, aged 26, of Swan Crescent, Oldbury, was fined £120 for drink driving in Oldbury on June 23. When tested, he had 76mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for three years and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Alex David Mead, aged 20, of Viewfield Crescent, Sedgley, was given a 12 month community order for failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis during the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence in Oldbury on April 24. He was disqualified from driving for two years and must carry out 150 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £200 court costs.

Thomas David Deeming, aged 27, of Burndale Road, Oldbury, was fined £900 for drink driving in Oldbury on September 29, 2016. When tested, he had 41mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for driving without a licence or insurance and was sent to prison for 10 weeks, suspended for 12 months for failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on October 18, 2016, having been released on bail. He was disqualified from driving for three years and must pay £135 court costs.

Christopher Ian Paxford, aged 34, of Stourbridge Road, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for producing a quantity of cannabis in West Bromwich on January 4. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £185 court costs.

Jayne Mellor, aged 47, of Penncricket Lane, Rowley Regis, was fined £200 for drink driving in Oldbury on June 27. When tested, she had 70mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was disqualified from driving for 16 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Stephen Raymond Nock, aged 45, of Walker Avenue, Brierley Hill, was given a two year community order for assaulting a woman in Brierley Hill on June 10. He was fined £100 and must pay £200 compensation, a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Boguslaw Kwiatkowski, aged 41, of Crossgate Road, Dudley, was fined £600 for driving without due care and attention or insurance in Wolverhampton on May 11. He was also sentenced for failing to surrender to custody at Walsall Magistrates Court on May 31, having been released on bail. He was disqualified from driving for six months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £225 court costs.

Gavin Mark Smith, aged 36, of Maidstone Drive, Wordsley, was sent to prison for 12 weeks for stealing dash cams, worth £139.96, from Lidl, Kingswinford, on July 12, while subject to a suspended sentence. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Daniel Christopher Cowley, aged 31, of Pitfields Road, Oldbury, was sent to prison for 10 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for damaging a door and assaulting a woman in Sedgley on June 5. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £280 court costs.

Chelsea Jayne Davies, aged 24, of Hill Street, Brierley Hill, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing two Persil Pod and two Lynx deodorants, worth £15, from Wilkos, Dudley, on June 30. She must pay a victims surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.
