A CHEMICAL leak in Oldbury saw residents evacuated from their homes.
Emergency services were called to reports of a leaking ammonia tank at an industrial site in Summerton Road yesterday evening (Friday).
Those living in the immediate area were evacuated, with others advised to keep their doors and windows closed.
We are still on Summerton Road, Oldbury dealing with an ammonia leak.@WMPolice and @OFFICIALWMAS are in attendance. No injuries are reported, but residents in the immediate area have been evacuated for safety.

Six workers were led to safety. Paramedics assessed one person at the scene but they did not require hospital treatment.
Medics also provided specialist health information to colleagues in the police and fire service.
Firefighters left the scene at around 2.30am this morning (Saturday).
