A MEDICAL practice with branches in Stourbridge and Halesowen has raised more than £700 for charity as part of its celebrations for the NHS's 70th birthday.
Wychbury Medical Group held an afternoon tea party and raffle at each of its sites in Stourbridge, Cradley Heath and Halesowen.
They held a children’s picture colouring competition, and a 'memories' book for anyone to note down their experiences, treatments, help and support received from the NHS since its launch.
A spokesperson said: "We had so many wonderful donations from local stores, companies and organisations, and because of this we were able to raise a massive £701.13. All the money raised went to Mary Stevens Hospice.
"Wychbury Medical Group wishes to thank all its staff, patients and donators for all the hard work, dedication and support they have offered for the event to run so smoothly."
