AN 11-day gin festival is coming to Black Country pubs later this month.

The Moon Under Water in High Street, Cradley Heath, The Britannia in Halesowen Street, Rowley Regis, and The William Shenstone in Queensway, Halesowen, will have numerous award-winning and flavoured gins on offer throughout.

The Full Moon in High Street, Dudley, The Abraham Darby at intu Merry Hill, The Clifton in Bull Ring, Sedgley and The Waterfront Inn in Level Street, Brierley Hill, will also be involved in the festival, which will run from Friday, August 17 to Monday, August 27.

The gins will range in price from £2.75 to £4.40 (single measure) and include a free mixer.

The five overseas gins are; Gin Mare, Roku, Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin, Sharish Blue Magic Gin and Malfy Gin Con Limone.

The UK gins will include Jawbox Single Dry Gin, Masons Dry Yorkshire Gin, Wrecking Coast Clotted Cream Gin, Brecon Special Reserve, Finni's Black Bee Gin and Bathtub Gin.

Lee Cartwright, manager at The Full Moon, said: "The majority of gins in the festival have not been available in the pub beforehand and I am looking forward to serving them."
