POPULAR local author and poet Mel Woodend will be telling tales at Kinver Community Library.
Mel will be staging a children's creativity workshop at the library from 10am until 10.45am on Monday, August 13, which has been especially designed for three to six-year-olds.
She will be reading from her debut children's story entitled ‘Tales of a Little Brown Mouse’, before encouraging children to colour in characters from the book to take home.
Following that, Mel will be concentrating on creative writing for seven to 11-year-olds which takes place from 11am until noon.
Places for the workshops are free, but must be booked in advance by calling 01384 872348, or visiting the library.
