BOROUGH groups and organisations working with children and young people are invited to bid for cash from Dudley Children's Fund.
The Rant about the Grant scheme offers grants of up to £500 to people whose work makes a difference to youngsters aged five to 13 across Dudley.
The grants are part of the fund's commitment to involving children and young people in decisions about funding and applicants must show they have involved youngsters in the application process.
All completed applications will be considered by Dudley Decision Making Kids, a group of borough kids who meet regularly to make decisions.
Graham Sutterby, Dudley Children's Fund programme manager, said: "This programme of grants is a unique way of involving children and young people in both applying for and awarding grants to local groups and organisations.
"By requiring applicants to actively involve children and young people we're ensuring their voices are heard and that funding is directed to where it's needed most."
For more information contact Toni Brettell, children's involvement worker, at Dudley Children's Fund on 01384 813437 or email office@dudleychildrensfund.org.uk for an application pack.
The closing date for applications is Friday November 30.
