Borough boxing star Darren McDermott will be enjoying home support in his bid to become British middleweight champion after the venue was switched only two days before the big fight.
McDermott was due to fight champion Wayne Elcock for the title at The Coventry SkyDome (tomorrow) but after some last minute adjustments, the Hennessy Sports promotion will now take place at Wolverhampton Civic Hall on the same date.
The venue was already set to host a First Team Promotions top night of boxing with Dudley's Jamie Ball making his debut, but the addition of Macca to a bill brimming with Black Country talent is set to create an electric atmosphere.
The new location will be great news to the challenger, who has enjoyed wins at the venue in the past.
First Team promoter, PJ Rowson, said: "After lengthy discussions between Hennessy Sports and ourseleves we are delighted to announce that they will be bringing the title fight to Wolverhampton."
