Biker injured after Ferrari smash


A FERRARI sports car was badly damaged after a smash in Hagley which left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.

The collision happened at 1.20pm on Saturday August 30 on the A456 Birmingham Road near the Badgers Set Inn.

The rider of a blue Suzuki bike suffered a fractured leg, arm and wrist during the incident which caused the busy road to be closed for two hours.

The biker was airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital, his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
