Families can enjoy a host of fun activities this month thanks to Dudley borough libraries.
Highlights include storytelling at Dudley Zoo, poet performances and big picture parties - all arranged to mark this year’s family learning festival.
Storytelling sessions at the zoo take place today (Saturday) between 11am and 3pm, with further sessions next Saturday October 18 at Brierley Hill library from 2.15pm to 3pm.
Performance poet Craig Bradley will visit two libraries later in the month, while comic artist Kev Sutherland will also return.
Councillor Michael Evans, cabinet member responsible for libraries, said: “Dudley libraries are delighted to be involved in this year’s family learning festival and are hosting just some of the many activities taking place this year to encourage families to learn together.
“Families can also look forward to drumming, belly dancing and much more at neighbourhood learning centres and schools.”
For further information about activities during the family learning festival, or to find out more about family learning programmes available throughout the year, call the family learning team on 01384 818143.
