STOURBRIDGE MP Lynda Waltho MP has praised charity Friends of the Animals for using a recent generous legacy to offer people chance to get their dogs or cats speyed or neutered cheaply.
The charity, which has an office in Bearwood, near Birmingham, is offering heavy discounts to needy pet owners booking operations in November and December.
MP Lynda said: “Every year local rescue charities are inundated with unwanted and abandoned pets. Neutering is the only effective way to reduce the number of unwanted animals, but vet bills can be prohibitive for some people and so it is important that people are helped as well as encouraged to be responsible pet owners.”
To take advantage of the offer, only vets specified by the charity can be used.
Surgeries used by Friends of the Animals are located in Dudley, Lye, Halesowen and Cradley Heath.
