Santas flock to cinema

FATHER Christmases from across the West Midlands flocked to a Dudley cinema to attend a special Santa School.

The Odeon at Merry Hill hosted the festive event which saw Santas and elves from all over the borough being taught how to mimic the real Father Christmas.

During the session, the Santas watched a training video about the true story of Christmas, the history of Santa and what a Father Christmas outfit consists of.

The trainees were also taught how to say ‘Merry Christmas’ in a variety of languages and were able to practice their HO HO HO to the real Santa’s high standard.

Kirsty Pearce, manager at Odeon Dudley, said:” The day was designed to help Santa’s helpers from across the West Midlands and help restore the magic of Christmas."
