MAGICIANS in Stourbridge are getting set to conjure up a leading illusionist to talk trickery in the town.
Geoffrey Durham, who found fame in the 1980’s as The Great Soprendo, will be calling at The House of Magic, Brook Street, on Monday February 16, to share some of his secrets during a lecture entitled Magic, Laughter and Applause.
The award winning artist is one of the most well-known British magicians both as a TV performer and star of shows at leading theatres around the World.
John Milner, member of the Inner Magic Circle and proprietor of The House of Magic said: “It is a great honour to have someone of Geoffrey’s calibre lecture to the Stourbridge magicians because he is one of the most experienced and versatile magicians in the world.”
During his visit, Geoffrey will be talking about how some tricks fall flat despite skilful performance and how to get the maximum laughter and applause from an audience.
