STOURBRIDGE MP Lynda Waltho ‘cut the ribbon’ at the opening of the KIDS Orchard Partnerships’s new charity shop in Lye.
The charity - which works with parents and carers to help disabled youngsters to develop their skills and abilities and to the full - has opened the shop to maximize their fundraising efforts.
Labour MP Lynda said: “Local people know KIDS Orchard Partnership does amazing work with children with a range of physical and learning disabilities.
“They rely on fundraising though, and this shop will be a great help with that.
“I was really encouraged by meeting the staff and volunteers from the shop as well the young people and families who are involved with KIDS Orchard Partnership.”
The new shop sells a range of goods, mainly clothes, all of which should help to boost the charity’s coffers.
