THIEVES have stolen a professional racing kart from a driveway in Wollescote during an overnight raid.
The kart was in a blue Ford transit van on the victim’s drive which was broken into between November 17 and 18.
Additional equipment stolen during the incident included a red Honda petrol 5KVA generator worth up to £500, a red Nike holdall containing two sets of racing suits, a red and blue helmet, and other karting attire worth £800.
Sergeant Liz Pearson, from Lye Police Station, said: “We are appealing for anyone that might have seen unusual activity in the area to come forward, any information however big and small will help with this investigation.
“It would have taken several people to be able to move all of the items which were taken, and we imagine it must have been taken from the scene in a van or large trailer.”
Anyone with information to assist the investigation should call Halesowen CID on 0845 113 5000, or speak to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
