THIEVES made off with prescription drugs stolen from a car in Hagley on Sunday (December 27).
The silver Toyota Yaris was parked in a car park off Hagley Wood Lane and when the owner returned they noticed the rear driver’s side window had been broken.
Offenders took a number of items from the glove box between 12.30pm and 1.30pm.
Items taken included a black handbag containing two insulin pens, (a blue pen called Novorapid and a grey pen called Lantus Solostar) and two packets of tablets - Ramipril for blood pressure and Simvastatin for cholesterol.
The medication is considered dangerous in the wrong hands and if anyone finds them they are urged to hand them in at their nearest police station or pharmacist.
A TomTom sat nav system worth about £100 was also taken from the glove box.
A police spokesperson said: “It is quite possible that someone in the area may have heard the offenders when they smashed the car window and we would urge them to call us as soon as possible to help us with our investigation."
Anyone with information about the incident should call police at Kidderminster on 0300 333 3000 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
