Politicians flock to Stourbridge for TV debate

POLITICIANS descended on Stourbridge yesterday (Sunday February 7) for a TV debate on immigration.

Host Jon Sopel was joined by Immigration Minister Phil Woolas MP, Conservative Damian Green MP (Shadow Minister for Immigration) and Chris Huhne MP - the Liberal Democrats’ Shadow Home Secretary - on yesterday’s Politics Show, which was broadcast from King Edward VI College.

Former councillor Chris Bramall, the LibDems’ prospective Parliamentary candidate for Stourbridge, said afterwards: “Immigration will be an important issue in the General Election campaign.

“With Chris Huhne in charge, Liberal Democrat immigration policy is in good hands.”
