Brierley Hill business paints bright future for footy team

YOUNG footballers are celebrating after being kitted out in a brand new strip, thanks to sponsorship from a Brierley Hill Decorator Centre.

The Phoenix under-8s team is sporting a new red and yellow strip, after receiving £500 sponsorship from the Dulux Decorator Centre.

The sponsorship from the Little Cottage Street business has allowed the team, who play in a non-competitive league, to kit all eight players with a new shirt, embellished with the Dulux Decorator Centre’s logo.

Jon Sturmey, manager of the Phoenix team, said: “We would like to thank the company for its generosity.

The team are training hard and learning new skills every week and are really excited when the weekend comes round so that they can don their new kits.”

Samantha Everill, store manager, said: “We are delighted to support the young boys and encourage others in the area to join the local football club.

“The team look fantastic and we wish them every success for the rest of the season.”
