A DESCENDANT of Charles Dickens’ will be stopping off at Netherton Arts Centre next month.
Gerald Dickens, the great great grandson of the author will perform some of the greatest scenes from Dickens’ best stories in ‘An Audience with Charles Dickens’.
The show takes place on Monday, February 27 at 7.30pm and will feature moments from Pickwick Papers, David Copperfield and the death of Nancy from Oliver Twist.
Councillor Liz Walker, cabinet member for children’s services, said: “The works of Dickens will surely come to life during these performances. This is a once in a lifetime chance for people to get to see the great great grandson of Dickens and I am sure he will enthrall the audience.”
