Skateboarding lessons on offer in Kinver

YOUNGSTERS in Kinver can pick up skateboarding tips from experts at the village’s Wheels Parks next weekend.

Top instructors from Rubicon Skate Board School will be putting young skaters through their paces at the skate facility at Marsh Playing Fields, off Legion Drive, on Saturday July 21 from 10am.

There will be four 90-minute classes, each with a capacity of 20 places for youngsters aged over seven.

Equipment will be available for those without skateboarding gear.

Places must be booked in advance - with parental permission.

The event has been organised by Kinver Action Group, which developed the skate park with cash from the Big Lottery Fund’s Community Spaces grants programme and the government’s Playbuilder Fund.
