Treat your rascals to a weekend of festival fun

BOROUGH youngsters can enjoy their very own outdoor festival of fun at Merry Hill’s Rascalfest this weekend.

The two-day fun-filled event will run on Friday and Saturday and will feature children’s television character favourites, such as Bubblepops, CBeebies’ Mike the Knight, and Nick Jr.’s Ben and Holly, as well as rides, dancing, singing, craft workshops and face painting.

There will also be interactive story-telling, crafts and sports activities and prize giveaways as well as a Disney ‘Brave’ zone to celebrate the release of the new movie.

Kelly Reed, marketing manager at Westfield Merry Hill, said: “Last year our festival was a huge success and attracted thousands of people over the two days.

“This year will be even bigger and we’re pulling out all the stops to ensure there are lots of activities to keep your little ones entertained.”
