Teacher on child porn charges appears in court

THE case of a disgraced teacher from Wordsley who was caught with nearly 100,000 child porn pictures has been adjourned until October.

Matthew Bullas, aged 32, of Hamilton Close, a former PE teacher at Castle High School in Dudley, appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court today (Friday August 31) charged with nine offences of possessing indecent images of children.

The former teacher, who was sacked from his job after the allegations came to light, pleaded guilty to the charges at an earlier hearing in May at Dudley Magistrates Court.

The court heard a final decision was still awaited on whether funding will be granted for a psychologist’s report ahead of sentencing - so Judge Michael Dudley adjourned the case.

Bullas, who was arrested after police seized computer equipment from his former Halesowen home in November 2011, was released on bail until October 26.

This deviant needs to be made an example of! He has admitted child **** \images and disturbingly worked with children, his motives and lifestyle are clearly beyond reproach, no psychologist report required - put him in jail minimum of 10 years no parole, in general population. There is no rehab or cure for this deviancy, how far away was his behavior from actually physically acting out his perversion, in a position of trust daily with children!!!! the options should be straight forward really - Name, shame remove from society!!!!
