The roving rev took in ten churches during a bike ride which started in Hagley and headed through the heart of Stourbridge to Amblecote, Wollaston and Lye.

"I especially appreciated the coffee and bacon rolls that I was given at Oldswinford church."
During his trip around the region, which took place during Ride and Stride weekend of September 8 and 9, the Archdeacon visited St Saviour's, Hagley, St John's, Hagley, St Peter's, Pedmore, St Andrew's, Wollescote, Christchurch, Lye, St Mary's, Oldswinford, St Thomas's, Stourbridge, Holy Trinity, Amblecote, St James's, Wollaston and St Michael and All Angels, Norton.
