Wollaston coffee morning raises £550 for cancer charity

WOLLASTON fundraisers Sue McDowall and Sheila Wrigley celebrated their “best ever” coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

They raised £550 for the charity when they staged the annual fundraiser at Wollaston Methodist Church, Cobden Street, Wollaston, on September 29, as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning initiative.

Sheila Wrigley said: “This was our best year ever and we are very grateful to all those people who supported us.”
