CANINE crazy fans queued up at Merry Hill to get their paws on Pudsey the dancing pooch’s autobidography.
The six-year-old border collie, Bichon Frise and Chinese crested cross, who became first four-legged winner of Britain’s Got Talent, stopped off at the Westfield shopping centre on Saturday November 3 - together with his owner Ashleigh Butler.
The cute canine met fans and showcased his tricks at Waterstones as well as paw-printing copies of his shaggy dog story ‘Pudsey: My Autobidography’ which tells how he went from depressed dog to mutt of the moment.
Kelly Reed, Merry Hill marketing manager, said the im-paw-tant visit proved a big hit with shoppers.
She added: “As predicted, Pudsey’s appearance at the centre was a huge success and he proved extremely popular with kids and adults alike.
“There were several queues of eager shoppers waiting to see the loveable pooch but we made sure that everyone who was there got the chance to meet him.”
Pudsey and 17-year-old Ashleigh, who hail from Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, are set to perform at the 84th Royal Variety Performance on November 19.
The pair will also be starring in Dick Whittington at the New Victoria Theatre, Woking, Surrey, from December 7 to January 6 2013.
