POLICE are hunting a Netherton student who has been missing for almost a week.

Jason Tatlock has not been seen since he left his home in Copse Road on September 22 when he is believed to have made his way to Cradley railway station to catch a train to Snow Hill station in Birmingham.

Jason is aged 20 and attends Birmingham University, he is understood to have been feeling depressed at the time he went missing.

Detective Gareth Homer, from Dudley CID, said: "His family and friends are very worried as it’s completely out of character for Jason to vanish like this without letting anyone know of his whereabouts.

"If anyone has seen Jason I’d urge them to contact me immediately so we can make checks that he is safe and well. Equally, I’d ask for Jason himself to please contact a friend or family member to let someone know he’s OK."

Jason is described as a white male, five-feet-nine, of thin build, with mousy cropped hair and a fair complexion; he was wearing three-quarter length blue-grey trousers, white ankle socks and pale denim deck shoes when he was last seen.

His bank card has been used to withdraw cash at an ATM in Bangor, north Wales since his disappearance.

Anyone with information is asked to call DC Homer at West Midlands Police on the 101 number.
