MIDLANDS Air Ambulance Charity want to hear from any youngsters they have helped airlift over the past three years.

The Lye based charity plans to invite anyone under 16 who has benefitted from their life saving services to a Christmas party on Sunday December 14.

Jason Levy, the charity's fundraising and marketing director said: "This is an annual event and one that we really look forward to.

"Each year around 180 young people are in need of emergency airlift services and their sheer bravery never ceases to amaze us.

"The party is a chance for all those youngsters to come face-to-face again with the people who helped rescue them, but this time in far happier circumstances and at a special time of year."

The event takes place at Strensham airbase just off Junction 8 of the M5.

Any youngsters interested in attending should email info@midlandsairambulance.com or telephone 0800 8402040.
