PEOPLE across the borough have until Sunday (January 25) to have their say on the council’s budget as the authority looks to save £57 million over the next three years.

This year’s Big Question asks residents to select the top five services they most value as the authority looks to prioritise services against a backdrop of falling budgets.

More than 2,700 people have already had their say but council bosses want as many people as possible to air their views before this Sunday’s closing date.

The responses will then be used by council bosses as they look to find savings by changing the way services are run or by stopping the delivery of services where there is no other option.

Councillor Stuart Turner, Dudley’s cabinet member for finance, said: “The response to this year’s Big Question budget consultation has been extremely good and we want to remind people they have until this Sunday to have their say.

“The Big Question consultations we have run are the most successful consultations in the council’s history so I would also like to thank everyone who has taken part."
