THREE authors will be visiting Dudley to help borough book lovers share their enthusiasm for reading.
The Reader's Afternoon event will take place on May 16 at the Archives and Local History Centre, Tipton Road.
Visiting authors will be Fiona Joseph, who has written a biography of Beatrice Cadbury and a novel about Cadbury workers caught up in the First World War, psychological thriller author Samantha Hayes and Robert Ronsson who penned Out of Such Darkness, set in the aftermath of 9/11.
Deborah Harkins, chief officer responsible for libraries, archives and local history, said: “This event is for people to discover new ideas for their own reading and to share their love of reading with others.
“People can find out what authors read themselves and what inspires them as well as asking questions about their work.”
The event will run from 1pm to 4pm and places can be reserved by calling 01384 812770.
Tickets cost £5 and include afternoon tea.
