DUDLEY youngsters who visit the town’s library this week will be transported back to prehistoric times to meet some dinosaurs.
The event is part of a programme of free activities at libraries across the borough to keep the kids entertained during half-term.
Dudley Library and the borough’s Museum and Art Gallery are offering a joint dinosaur-themed afternoon on Thursday (May 28).
The event starts at 2pm in Dudley children’s library, where families will be escorted to the Dudley Museum for a Meet the Dinosaurs talk.
After the session, children will return to the library to enjoy a craft activity until 3.30pm.
Cllr Rachel Harris, cabinet member for health and wellbeing, said: “Children love dinosaurs and this half-term there are lots of activities on offer to keep them busy.
"Libraries stock a huge range of information and fiction books for children to enjoy and the museum is full of interest for everyone.
"This is an example of how our services combine to bring a fun package for families and children.”
Places can be booked by calling Dudley Library 01384 815560.
