BOROUGH residents are being invited to a meeting of the Dudley Health and Wellbeing Board in September.

Made up of local GPs, health commissioners, the police, Dudley Council officers, councillors, and members of the borough’s voluntary and community sector, the board has responsibility for the health and wellbeing of residents across Dudley.

At the meeting, which is taking place on Wednesday, September 9, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, the board will consider a number of reports one of which will be looking at the progress being made in improving and joining up the borough’s local health and social care services.

Councillor Rachel Harris, Dudley cabinet member for health, said: “We really want people to come along to the board’s meetings, listen to the reports and discussions and get a real feel for how we work together to shape the borough’s health and care services.”

The meeting will be held at Age Concern Sedgley, in Ettymore Road.
