CANNABIS worth more than £500,000 has been discovered in the former headquarters of a Brierley Hill charity.
West Midland Police’s Cannabis Disposal Team raided an address in Pearson Street at about 1 am on Tuesday (August 25) and found over 1,000 plants.
The building which contained the plants, Insight House, used to be the home of We Love Carers before the charity moved out of the premises in April this year.
In pictures posted on twitter by the team, the large number of plants – some measuring more than 5ft tall – can be seen growing in pots on the building’s dance floor.
