INSPIRATIONAL young people will be celebrated at the Young Citizens Awards.
The Rotary Club of Sedgley and Wombourne is asking people to nominate those under the age of 19 who have demonstrated their commitment to citizenship.
Club president, Ken Thomas said: “These awards are a fantastic platform for us to formerly recognise all the excellent work that our youngsters have undertaken to help and support others in the local community.
"Those nominated do not necessarily have to be working on a Rotary project to be eligible for an award - what matters is that they, individually have made a positive difference.”
Three winners will be presented with a certificate at Himley Country Hotel and awarded a prize of £100, £75 and £50.
For more information or to nominate, email, kenthomas01384@hotmail.com or visit www.rotarysedgleyandwombourne.org.uk.
The closing date for nominations is May 31.
