DUDLEY firefighters freed a 12-year-old boy whose leg was ‘impaled’ on a coffee table.
Emergency services were called to Cardoness Place at 8am this morning as the youngster had caught his leg in a crack of a wooden coffee table.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said the boy was stuck due to “a large splinter” and firefighters had helped remove it.
The boy was taken to Russells Hall Hospital for further treatment.
