A SERIES of Bank Holiday Weekend pub fun days look set to give Mary Stevens Hospice a boost.
Fun days will take place at The Rose and Crown in Halesowen, tomorrow (Saturday August 27), The Park Tavern, Kingswinford, on Sunday August 28 and The Wall Heath Tavern, Wall Heath, on Saturday August 27 and Monday August 29.
Events at The Rose and Crown, Hagley Road, and The Park Tavern, Cot Lane, will include a bouncy castle, facepainting, barbecue, gin bar, real ale and live music at 3pm, 6pm and 9pm – and Black Country Gaz will be among the entertainers.
At The Wall Heath Tavern, in Wall Heath High Street, there’ll be a bouncy castle, children’s playzone and magic show, outside bar and real ale.
Admission to the pub fun days is free but money collected at the events will be donated to Mary Stevens Hospice, which is currently trying to raise £3million to create a new day centre.
