THERE will be fun for all the family at a Christmas craft event being held in aid of a Dudley charity.

The Access in Dudley event will raise funds for the borough cause which looks at access issues for all, but particularly for those with a disability.

A number of stalls will be selling items including handmade cards, candles cakes and jewellery at the DY1 building in Stafford Street, Dudley, on Saturday, November 19.

Mrs Christmas will also be dropping by where children can have a chat as well as write a letter to Santa, which will be popped in a special post box to be sent to Mr Clause.

Fun and games, including create a cracker, guess the name of the teddy bear, guess the number of sweets in the jar and guess the weight of the cake competitions will all be raising money for the charity, while there will be live music throughout the day.

Fellow Dudley charity More Mascots Please will host a face painting stall – with seven stalls still available for people to book, costing £10 for a single or £15 for a double.

Tina Boothroyd, chairman of Access in Dudley, said: “It should be a really fun day. We have plenty of activities, games and competitions on offer and it would be lovely to see as many children there as possible.”
