A GP surgery in Dudley will host a health awareness day next week.

The event at Cross Street Health Centre will give patients a helping hand to improve their health.

During the event, which runs from 10am to 4pm next Friday (March 31), people can get advice on family planning and find out more about what dementia services are available.

People can also get advice on skin problems, learn more about the symptoms of prostate cancer and the practice's nursing team will be carrying out health checks.

The team from Specsavers will also be there to book people in for eye and hearing tests.

Practice manager, Kerry D'Silva, said the event was part of the health centre's "active work to involve patients from all sections of the community".
