BLACK Country beauties are gearing up for a chance to represent the region at the Miss England competition.
Contestants for this year’s Miss Black Country pageant lined up at The Copthorne Hotel in Brierley Hill ahead of the grand final taking place at the hotel this Sunday (April 30).
The finalists met the judges and took part in an intellect round, a quiz about the Black Country, a modelling round and sports round held at Pure Gym in Brierley Hill - which was won by contestant Victoria Green.
Rachael Barker, Miss England regional director, said: “The ladies have all worked so hard for the Miss Black Country competition so far, all raising money for Beauty With a Purpose - a charity helping disadvantaged children locally, nationally and worldwide.
“The ladies have prepared eco dresses for the finals, as well as collecting their evening dress from the headline sponsor of the Miss England West Midlands heats ‘Pandora’s Prom’ in Rowley Regis.”
News readers can buy special rate tickets for the final, which will feature a buffet, show and entertainment, online from www.missenglandwm.com/mediaoffer.
